ames Cherian is originally from Rockland County, New York, and came to Cornell University in 1996 as a transfer student interested in pre-med. However his plans changed, and shortly after graduating from Cornell in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science, he decided to work in campus ministry with the Vineyard Church of Ithaca. In 1999 he was officially licensed as a minister, and in 2001, he married Anna, who is currently working on her Ph.D. in Chemistry. James enjoys working with students, and is looking forward to interacting in the residential community. He has served as a University Chaplain at Cornell since 2000. Back->
