F ather Dan McMullin is the current Director of Cornell Catholic Community at Cornell University. Fr. Daniel McMullin has a varied background in both the academic and pastoral worlds. After graduating college he spent nearly sixteen years as a monk of St. John's Abbey (Collegeville, MN). He was ordained there in 1981. After earning a doctorate from the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY) he taught on the faculties of St. John's University (his Minnesota alma mater) and Dominican University (River Forest, IL). Now as a priest of the Diocese of Rochester he has worked in both the urban and rural parishes. Prior to his appointment as Director of Cornell Catholic Community Fr. McMullin served as both pastor of St. Mark's Church (Geneseo, NY) and sacramental minister at the Newman Community SUNY Geneseo. Besides his obvious interest in music Fr. McMullin continues to study in the areas of Celtic and Benedictine spirituality. Back->
