ev. Janet Shortall is the Associate Director of Cornell United Religious Work (CURW). Ms. Shortall received her B.A. from Oneonta State University, an M.A. from Fordham University, and an M. Div. from Starr King (Unitarian Universalist) Seminary. She served for one year as an intern parish minister and six years as a college chaplain primarily in the area of peace and justice education. While attending seminary, Janet was program coordinator for the Center for Women and Religion within the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) at Berkeley. This work involved the coordination of an interfaith network of women representing the nine seminaries comprising the GTU dedicated to and engagement with feminist scholarship and research in theology.
