My wife Kira and I moved to Ithaca in 2006, to allow her to begin her studies in Cornell’s Department of Applied Economics and Management, where she is currently a PhD student. In 2008, I accepted an invitation to work for New Life Presbyterian Church as a pastoral assistant, with a specific focus on our college students.
My aim is to prepare students to leave Ithaca holding their faith intelligently, deeply and faithfully, loving God, his church, and the world. I have an interdisciplinary MA from Wheaton College in church history and spiritual formation and am very passionate about connecting students to the broader tradition of the church, tapping into the beauty and stability that is found there.
We also have one son, Aidan, who will turn 5 in April, 2010. He likes trains and dinosaurs, so we do, too.
