Episcopal chaplain Clark R. West arrived at Cornell in the summer of 2009 with his wife Sarah and their children, Cecilia and Anne.
Clark is a graduate of Williams College ('89) where he majored in religion, and the University of Chicago (M. Div '97).
Having served for 9 years as a parish priest, most recently as rector of Trinity Church in Geneva, NY, he is currently working on his Ph.D in theology at Syracuse University under the direction of Dr. John D. Caputo. His dissertation topic is a constructive theology of love in times of trauma.
An avid cyclist, amateur birdwatcher, and lover of twangy folk music,Clark relishes the opportunity to serve as pastor, priest and teacher
to the students, faculty, and staff of Cornell.
