CORNELL UNIVERSITY CHRISTIAN FACULTY/STAFF FORUM
Recognizing the great influence we have by
virtue of our positions on the faculty and staff of Cornell University
and desiring to use our influence to impact the university community
and, indeed, higher education for the Lord Jesus Christ, we affirm
our obedience to His command in Acts 1:8, ". . . and you
shall be My witnesses . . ."
"In Jerusalem," - Cornell University
By maintaining a Christian Faculty/Staff Forum on the campus for the purpose of:
1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive
strategy for cultivating our individual relationships with the
Lord and effecting a unified impact on the campus.
2. Sharing of mutual concerns and interests
with colleagues through discussion and prayer.
3. Providing a forum for communicating information
regarding various Christian activities on campus.
4. Providing opportunities for various types
of Christian training.
5. Serving as a resource for Christian campus
and community organizations to provide speakers, endorsement for
activities and programs, etc.
6. Stimulating and encouraging one another to walk in the way of the Lord and to actively share
the gospel of Jesus Christ as we work together
at Cornell University.
