Sealed.
A sealed room.
The IDF tells me to prepare a sealed room because chemical bombs may fall.
I feel anxiety when I think about my sealed room.
But I am actually more worried about my other sealed room.
The internal sealed room.
The Chambers of my heart.
Bombs fall when hearts are sealed.
The physical world is so infinitely open yet with hearts so tightly closed.
I find myself standing in front of the Kotel, for I am told there are people with hearts of stone and a wall with a human heart.
I pray that God will open our hearts. Even though I know that as our hearts open we may feel the pain, loneliness and at times the emptiness of our lives.
I know I may be entering a sealed room but it's because we find it so difficult to enter our inside sealed room
People cause pain because they are in pain.
Let us pray for open hearts
Let us pray to feel our pain
Let us pray to feel the pain of others.
Do you think people have heart attacks because there hearts are sealed with happiness?
No more heart attacks, no more war, no more chemical bombs
Let us pray that the words of the prophet Ezekiel will come true
"I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove the stone heart from your bodies and give you a heart a flesh" (Ezekiel 36/26)
